Eat me Drink me is a family house and is part of the Pylewell Estate, which, according to The Guardian, is one of Britain’s Top 10 summer festivals – Curious Arts Festival – set apart from other festivals from it’s happy embrace of British eccentricity, style and fun.
The kitchen has a long table with plenty of cupboards and kit for cooking, baking sessions and birthday parties.
Shower room is off on one side. A sitting room that wears bold wallpaper, oil paintings and a wall of books. Then a red play room/kids snug with TV and knee-deep in kids kit. There are two further bedrooms downstairs that are newly painted and a shower room.
Upstairs, The main bedroom has a mahogany sleigh double bed. Along the corridor, a white and quirky bathroom, and just past that, a kids bedroom with twin beds and a small wooden bed for smaller children (prob 5’s and under).
This place is kids heaven. The garden is fenced (this is not toddler-proof – the part they could escape through goes into a large meadow) and there is an Olympic sized trampoline with a net. Adventurous kids can camp in the garden too. More stuff for kids; Masses of dolls prams, kitchen toys, castles and knights, Lego, swords, Barbies and a comprehensive library of loved and lived-in kids books.
