The house is part of a new gated development of 5 town mews houses, all with three storeys. There is a small courtyard to the front.
Downstairs there is a bright, modern and well-equipped kitchen including dishwasher and combi washer and dryer, a compact eating area that seats 6. The hallway, stairs and living room are colourful, bright and smart. There are some quirky bits and pieces including miniature Eastport Pram sailing dinghy for a coffee table. There are masses of novels, reference and children’s books, and plenty of games to suit all ages.
The first floor there is a family bathroom and two bedrooms that wear bold wall paper; a library themed bedroom with a double bed, en-suite shower-room and Juliette balcony, and a beach themed super king or twin bedroom.
The top floor is a bright and roomy hideaway with its own shower room and small private balcony (looking over the rooftops). There is a King-size bed, a sofa for reading and a small desk and chair. There is plenty of room for a travel cot in this room and this is where the additional airbed can be set up.
The courtyard garden is leafy with a pagoda and climbing greenery, fairy lights and plenty of potted plants. It is big enough to host a BBQ with table and chairs to seat six, plus a carved chair and a practical bench with storage space. There is a chiminea and room to secure bicycles hidden from view.
Regretfully no pets. There is a garage provided here but it doesn’t fit wide cars. There is a second space nearby in the public car park (a permit is provided for you).
