Cottages with Hot Tubs
Cottages with Hot Tubs
Hot tubs, Spas, Jacuzzi – they generally all mean one thing – a steaming hot pot of water that is heated to around 40 degrees that we plunge ourselves into with a glass of our favourite tipple.
When researching the use of hot tubs there are many claims for their medical benefits, here are just some of them:
- Weight Loss
- Pain relief
- Improved sleep
- Lower blood pressure
- Lower blood sugar
- Improved circulation
While some of the benefits seem to have scientific proof, others are still being researched and clarified. There were some other great pluses from regular hot tub sessions and the main ones that really resonated with us are listed below….
Quality Hot Tub time
The great thing about a hot tub is that you really have to speak to each other and be present with each other when using one. Its too dodgy to take your smart phone or ipad in, you certainly don’t want to be dunking that in a bubbling pool of wetness! A hot tub is the perfect way to catch up with loved ones after a long day, particularly if you have been on a midweek break and spent the day sight seeing or hiking up a rather large hill.
Relaxing is the order of the day, if you are on a couples retreat that filling your glasses with bubbles to celebrate that special anniversary or big birthday is always better when you are snugly warm, having your muscles gently massaged by the churning waters.
If you are lucky enough to get the hot tub all to yourself you are in for a treat, let it whisk you away somewhere else as you lay back and relax and enjoy some ‘me’ time. You can almost guarantee you will also find you sleep like a baby afterwards too.
Come rain or shine
Booking a holiday with a hot tub is also not weather dependant. You can enjoy your hot tub if its raining…. snowing… or a lovely day with the sun setting over the hills – as the example here from Lily pad cottage. Cottages with hot tubs in the UK
At Midweek Breaks we have over 60 holiday homes with hot tubs currently listed around the UK. Please be aware that some property owners only make hot tubs available during peak season or they may make an extra charge due to the extra upkeep and expense of keeping them in tip top condition for guests. It always pays to check if your wood for the wood fired hot tubs is included and if the hot tub is shared with other holiday makers or is for private use.
