Galtons Cottage

Galtons Cottage is a 200-year-old thatched cottage, close to all amenities in the village of West Moors in Dorset. It is situated in a secluded location next to beautiful countryside and arterial roads to London. This charming cottage has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 14 guests.

This 200 year old beautiful cottage has a bright airy extension for the kitchen and dining area. It is full of charm throughout the rest of the cottage, with beams, inglenook fireplace and wood stove.

Galtons Cottage has lovely gardens to the front and rear, with a children’s play frame and trampoline, hot tub and secure patio area to the rear. It also has a Games Barn to the side of the house with table tennis and table football.

There is off road parking for 4 + cars with good road links and public transport nearby.

Children and pets are allowed, as well as parties are allowed.

A wonderful Welcome pack is provided including a bottle of Prosecco, New Forest Spring Water, locally produced Tutti Fruity Jam, Biscotti Biscuits, Milk, Tea & Coffee. There is also a Go New Forest discount card included to be used locally, which can provide discounts when used with participating businesses.

Galtons Cottage is located in rural Dorset, within easy reach of the A31. It is around a 30 minute drive from beachside town Bournemouth, and around a 20 minute drive from Bournemouth Airport.

Additional facilities available

Hot tub a 5 person hot tub is available on request at a cost of £300 for a weekend and £375 for the week.
Additional accommodation in ‘Jessica’ our vintage VW Bay campervan, which sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children under 8. Jessica will be parked in front of the garage, within a few yards of the house and only provides additional sleeping accommodation. For more details please see here.
