Old Port Office
Description
The cottage was a post office and village shop until the late 1980’s. It was originally built as the quarry master’s cottage in the early 19th Century using stone from Sloes Hill, it is thought, at the same time as Crepe Farm House was built just a little further down the road.
Conveniently located, it is only a short stroll to either the Manor Yard where guests can enjoy our café, Symondsbury Kitchen, the shops in Manor Yard or a bracing walk to the top of Colmers Hill.
