Description
The Crows Nest is a charming thatched end-of-terrace cottage perched above scenic Porlock Bay offering superb family accommodation with the added benefit of amazing sea views, and less than 5 mins walk to the 13th Century Harbour.
The property features a huge inglenook fireplace with wood-burner, stone floors and exposed beams. The large dining room is a great family room which also provides the perfect spot to relax with a book while enjoying the views across the bay. The kitchen adjoins the dining room and features many modern appliances for your convenience. There is also a downstairs toilet off the dining room. On the first floor, the master bedroom enjoys a King-sized bed with en-suite shower room comprised of shower and hand basin only (no toilet in the en-suite). Bedrooms two and three have twin beds, and there is a family bathroom with a bath with shower attachment, bidet, toilet and hand basin. Outside is a small private garden area with wonderful views across the bay, plus private parking for two cars.
The harbour is the ‘centre’ of Porlock Weir, which is approximately 100 metres from The Crows Nest. There are two restaurants (The Cafe and Miller’s at the Anchor), a pub (all three are dog-friendly) and a range of individual shops such as tea rooms, Exmoor Glass, etc.
