Westhill House in Warkworth is a beautifully restored Grade II Listed Georgian village house overlooking medieval Warkworth Castle. It’s located right in the heart of the prettiest village in Northumberland.
With stunning views of the castle and countryside from the large private rear garden, this is the perfect cottage for experiencing the best of being located in a vibrant country village; with a range of good local pubs, interesting art galleries and good gift shops, and restaurants. A huge sandy beach is also within easy walking distance.
Warkworth is the perfect base for your holiday, with much to offer but also central for exploring all that Northumberland has to offer.
Westhill House sleeps up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms; 2 king size double rooms and a single room. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are very welcome for a small charge of £20 each per short break or week. Whilst the house is efficiently heated by central heating, there’s a wood-burning stove to provide an additional cosy ambience at any time of the year. Free wi-fi is provided throughout the house.
There is parking in front of the house, but not dedicated or guaranteed, but there is nearby parking free of charge elsewhere in the street.
An initial supply of wood is provided for the wood burning fire between October and April. More can be purchased in Amble.
