Using up that Annual Leave
They are of course talking about that annual leave that you had forgotten about which needs to be taken before the end of the month – or if they are feeling kind, they could extend it to the end of January. So what better way to spend those left-over days with a few nights away on a midweek break in the UK?

With late availability and low season there is no better time to find a sneaky little cottage tucked away for a romantic break with your partner. Having one on one time in your own bubble really cements a relationship and builds memories.

There is also a large increase in the number of cycle routes in towns and cities where you can hire bikes and explore the canals, rivers and features of the area that are out of reach by car.
Even if the weather is poor there are many cottages that enjoy an indoor swimming pool or hot tub to relax in after a tour of the local antique shops and art galleries. Remember to pack those woolly socks and a warm sweater so you can hug that hot chocolate in front of a roaring wood burner.
